The drive mechanism is the opposite as in the other staplers tackers, where you operate the lever by pressing it. The Rapid ALU610 tacker stapler pulls towards the stapler handle.
The advantage of this mechanism is that you practically support the material with the stapler body and then pull the trigger. You always have a free hand when you have to work at height (stairs)
