KNIPEX Crimping Pliers for Wire Ferrules 0.25-16 mm², Insulated 1000 V, 180 mm, Made in Germany 97 78 180

Professional Crimping pliers VDE for ferrules ideal for work in the automotive, IT, home appliances and electronics sectors. In general and for working under tension.

Permanently position and secure the ferrule according to DIN 46228 parts 1 + 4

Knipex 97 78 180 crimping pliers is a solid and precise tool. It can be used wherever terminal pins are crimped when electronic components are upgraded in machines, when IT conversion work is pending in the server room or in the home electrical system, e.g. when installing lighting or electronic entertainment elements.

Custom adjustment of the crimping profile to the crimping volume

For a standard crimping result, the crimping profile must be carefully adjusted to the material volume of the ferrule plus the conductive wires.

Therefore, the right tool is also important here. Proper - this is also the key word when selecting the right crimp.

A total of nine crimping nests with a capacity range of 0.25 to 16 mm are available. The mandrel profiles are clearly marked to prevent incorrect insertion. Due to the conical shape of the crimping profiles, the handles ensure a very good grip in the pliers.

Safe and accurate use

When crimping bolts, the manual force can be easily dosed with the KNIPEX 97 78 180 crimping pliers, as the pliers transmission is designed for strong crimping with low manual force. Not much force should be used. If the correct crimp has been selected, the splint rests permanently and securely on the conductor.
