The KNIPEX Electronic Super Knips 78 03 125 precision cutter is a tool for fine electronics and precision mechanics work. The ground, very sharp edges without bevel allow a flush cut, close to the surface, and the fine tips separate conductors as fine as Ø 0.2 mm, even when they are soldered together. It is the ideal cutter for assembling and repairing electronic boards.
It cuts soft copper wire from Ø 0.2 up to 1.6 mm and medium-hard wire up to Ø 1.0 mm, with low effort. The controlled micro-shift shearing mechanism ensures a precise, consistent cut over time. The opening spring, with an opening limiter, opens the cutter automatically after each cut, for fast, fatigue-free work.
The blades are made of stainless tool steel, with cutting edges hardened to about 54 HRC, and the joint rivet is stainless steel. The multi-component handles provide a comfortable, secure grip. The cutter meets the DIN ISO 9654 standard.
It is the ideal tool for electronics technicians, electronics service, model-making and fine mechanics, wherever you need a precise, clean, flush cut. KNIPEX brand, the German pliers specialist, made in Germany.
CAUTION! This is a PRECISION cutter for electronics - intended for soft copper wire (Ø 0.2 - 1.6 mm) and medium-hard wire (up to Ø 1.0 mm). Do NOT cut hard wire, piano wire, hardened steel wire or nails - the fine, bevel-free edges can chip. Do not use the cutter as a pry bar. It is not a VDE insulated tool.
