M1011 Industrial Embossing Labels – Permanent Metal Marking

Where an ordinary label gives up — in the sun, in oil, near aggressive chemicals or under temperatures that swing sharply — M1011 metal embossing labels take over. They are stainless steel or aluminium strips on which the text isn't printed but stamped in relief, so it stays legible for years no matter what happens to the surface.
At Sanco Grup you'll find the M1011 range in stainless steel and aluminium, with or without adhesive, shipped from stock. They're the right choice wherever identification has to last: pipelines, cables, engine components, panels, machinery and other critical equipment.

What M1011 Embossing Labels Are

Embossing means the letters and numbers are pressed in relief directly into the metal. Unlike printing, there's no ink, toner or ribbon to wear off: the information is part of the label. Even if the surface is painted, scratched or covered in deposits, the characters stay readable to the touch and in raking light.
M1011 tapes have a standard 12 mm width and come on rolls of various lengths. They can be adhesive, for application on clean, smooth surfaces, or non-adhesive, for mechanical fixing — through holes for screws and rivets or tabs for cable ties.

Materials: Stainless Steel and Aluminium

Stainless steel

The most resistant option. It withstands chemically aggressive environments, high temperatures and mechanical stress, making it the preferred choice in heavy industry, energy, marine and petrochemical work.

Aluminium

Lightweight, corrosion-resistant and easy to handle. Suitable for identifying equipment, building materials and components exposed to the weather.

Adhesive or non-adhesive

The adhesive version sticks quickly to clean surfaces; the non-adhesive version is fixed mechanically, where adhesive wouldn't hold — on oily, curved, rough or vibration-prone surfaces.

Why Choose Metal Embossing Labels

  • Permanent legibility: raised characters don't fade, smear or wear off.
  • Extreme resistance: to corrosion, rust, chemicals, solvents, UV, abrasion and extreme temperatures.
  • No printing consumables: no ink, toner or ribbon — just emboss and apply.
  • Flexible mounting: by adhesive, screws, rivets or cable ties.
  • Professional appearance: clean, uniform marking that supports order and compliance.

The DYMO Rhino M1011 Embossing System

M1011 tapes are used with the DYMO Rhino M1011 embosser, a rugged tool with a cast-aluminium body built for tough working conditions.
It embosses deeply, for clear characters, and has several practical features: a built-in hole punch for fixing holes, a cable-tie slot, a measuring gauge for label edges and a cutting handle that leaves square or rounded corners. An included reverse-image wheel also allows mirror text for special applications.

Industries and Applications

M1011 labels are used wherever marking has to survive without compromise:
  • overhead, buried or submerged pipelines
  • underground cables and electrical installations
  • engine components and mechanical parts
  • panels, machinery and industrial equipment
  • building materials and metal structures
  • casting mould series and cast parts
  • nameplates and asset tags

You'll find them in petrochemical, energy, marine, utilities, construction, manufacturing and maintenance work — anywhere critical equipment must be clearly identified for a long time.

How Metal Labels Are Fixed

Mounting flexibility is one of the big advantages. The adhesive version applies directly to clean, smooth surfaces. The non-adhesive version is fixed mechanically: through holes for screws or rivets, or tabs for cable ties. That way the label holds even on surfaces where adhesive would fail over time.

Metal Embossing Labels or Other Industrial Solutions?

For permanent identification in extreme conditions, embossed metal is hard to beat. If you need more economical embossed marking in a less demanding environment, there is also a plastic option — Omega embossing labels.
For other industrial needs, the Sanco Grup range also includes industrial heat-shrink tubes and the full set of DYMO industrial labels — vinyl, polyester, flexible nylon and XTL among them.

Why Buy M1011 Labels from Sanco Grup

  • original DYMO products and compatible options, in stainless steel and aluminium
  • adhesive and non-adhesive versions, on rolls of several lengths
  • real stock and fast delivery
  • technical advice for choosing the right tape for the application

Frequently Asked Questions about M1011 Embossing Labels

What are M1011 embossing labels?
They are metal strips (stainless steel or aluminium) on which the text is stamped in relief, for permanent industrial marking that withstands extreme conditions.

What material are they made of?
Stainless steel or aluminium. Stainless steel is the most resistant; aluminium is lightweight and corrosion-resistant.

Which device uses M1011 labels?
The DYMO Rhino M1011 embosser, designed for 12 mm metal tapes.

What width and length are the tapes?
The standard width is 12 mm, and the length depends on the roll (for example 3.65 m, 4.8 m or 6.4 m).

Are the labels adhesive or non-adhesive?
Both versions exist: adhesive, for clean surfaces, and non-adhesive, for mechanical fixing through holes or cable ties.

What applications are they used for?

Marking pipelines, underground cables, engine components, building materials, machinery and critical equipment.

Do they resist outdoor use and extreme temperatures?
Yes. They resist weather, corrosion, rust, chemicals, UV, abrasion and high or low temperatures.

How are metal labels fixed?
By adhesive (adhesive version) or mechanically — with screws, rivets or cable ties, using the holes and tabs created during embossing.

What is the difference from plastic embossing labels?
Metal labels withstand far harsher conditions. For everyday, more economical applications, there is a plastic option, Omega embossing labels.

Do embossing labels need ink or ribbon?

No. The text is pressed into the metal, so they use no ink, toner or ribbon.

Can they be read if painted over?

Yes. Being in relief, the characters stay readable to the touch and in light even after painting or coating.

Where can I buy M1011 labels?
