Rapid 13/8 mm Finewire staples are recommended for upholstery works with different types of textiles. Made of thin galvanized wire. They have perfectly cut feet which helps to penetrate the wood material well and without too much effect on the textile material.

How to determine the size of the staple for applying the upholstery?

When choosing the appropriate length of staple legs we will take into account the thickness of the material to be stapled and the hardness of the wood.
Usually, in hardwood, it is sufficient to penetrate the wood approximately 3 to 5 mm and in the soft wood - up to about 9 mm.
The staple must be completely and perfectly fixed parallel to the surface below.
However, if the used staple cannot be fully inserted into the wood, we recommend replacing it with another staple but with a shorter foot to achieve the desired results.
