Q: Will the device automatically connect using Bluetooth wireless technology (same as the LetraTag200B)?
A: Yes. Like the Letratag LT200B, the LM640CB works with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy wireless technology) which does not require pairing like older devices with Bluetooth wireless technology. It will connect automatically when you press print.

Q: Is the battery different from any other Li-Ion battery available in the DYMO range?
A: Yes. This is a new type of Li-Ion battery (you will find it in the new DYMO LabelManager 640CB, LabelManager 440C and LabelManager 620 CB models) and can be charged via the USB-C cable. AA or AAA batteries cannot be used (for durability reasons).

Q: Can the label maker be shared with multiple users and, if so, how many?
A: Only 1 at a time when printing, but the user is only connected while printing, so as long as the users are not all printing at the same time, this number is infinite. If the printer is in use, other people can see the printer in their app, but it will be marked as “busy”.

Q: How many lines can you print on?
A: The number of print lines depends on the width of the ribbon used: 6mm – 1 line, 9mm – 2 lines, 12mm – 3 lines, 19mm – 4 lines and 24mm – 5 lines

A: Yes! BLE stands for “Bluetooth wireless technology Low Energy”, which makes pairing between your mobile phone and the label maker much easier. The pairing will be done automatically, which is much easier to use.
