How does it work?

You do not need other consumables, such as ink cartridges, toners or ribbons!

You can print on one or two lines with Dymo LetraTag Black Edition labeling machine according with your needs.The settings allow you to layout labels by choosing from 5 text sizes, 7 fonts, 8 border types and over 190 common symbols.

The device memory allows you to save up to 9 custom labels. When you will want to print a label next time, you choose the saved formatting, change the text if necessary, and print the label.

The menu of this labeler allows the insertion of the date on the label, in day-month-year or month-day-year format, when you want to specify the production/packaging date etc. on a product.

Be careful! The label will take over the date set in the device. When you will replace the batteries, you have to set the date again. This portable printer model does not know how to keep this setting.
 


How do you use it?

It is remarkable how this LetraTag label device can use 2 printing methods: direct thermal printing and thermal transfer (only on Iron On nylon tapes).

We suggest that when you are using transparent labels be careful where you apply it. The writing will be always black!

Dymo LetraTag lt100h Black Edition portable printers use the 12mm bandwidth label. The white tapes with a width of 12 mm are the most used bandwidths in the range of self-adhesive labels from Dymo.

Labels on jars with cans for the winter

Recently I did a small renovation in the house and in the yard. Of course, the craftsmen did not have all the right tools for them. I provided some of the consumables (screws, dowels, self-drilling and drills) and tools (adjustable pliers, self-locking pliers, hot air pliers, screwdriver with batteries).

You don’t need ink cartridges, toners or ink strips, which are the main source of dirt.

The tape comes in a box with a ribbon. Both the writing and the label adhesive withstand several washes.

Adherence to the following steps is required for strong labeling:
 

• set the iron on the dry mode (without steam!), at a temperature between 130 - 170⁰C;
• print with Letratag Black Edition a label for children's clothes;
• peel off the ribbon from the label - you will see the printed text;
• position the label on children's clothes, where you want them to stay; as a suggestion: apply it either next to the manufacturer's label or on the additional labels with descriptions of the material from which the fabrics are made;
• place a piece of baking paper over the label, apply the iron over and press for 10-15 seconds, without moving the iron;
• let the label cool for a few seconds, then repeat the operation twice more;
• after cooling, check that the label has adhered completely.

You just put the first label on the children's clothes! Congratulations!
Tricks and tips - for more sensitive materials, at high temperatures use a thin piece of cotton material that you apply over the label, only then press with the iron.
