Electricians normally use several tools for different types of cable, such as round, coaxial, and data cable.
The wiring or stripping requirements differ too much to contain them in a single tool. At least that's been the case so far.

With the new Knipex ErgoStrip, a number of tools can be left in the tool bag during installation work. This universal disconnector makes it possible to cut and detach all the standard cables from the wiring of a modern house with a few movements of the hand and without changing the tools.

Ergonomic and universal - the trick with bending the handle

The functional versatility of the universal decoder results from its design. The two-case design of the tool handle has made it possible to integrate several functions - and the KNIPEX ErgoStrip fits extremely well in the hand.

The ends of the tool are tapered at the front, thus allowing space-saving wiring work in recessed-mounted sockets. The markings inside the tool allow the repeated and precise decoupling of the individual conductors and the stripping of the coaxial cables. A simple twisting and cutting movement, or a simple slit in the case of long cutting lengths and the desired result is obtained.

Preparatory work before wiring a switchboard, power outlet, or network outlet can be performed accurately and in a time-saving manner using KNIPEX ErgoStrip:

• Unwiring the single conductors and - very important in today's house wiring - cutting and stripping the coaxial cables for satellite networks and cables, as well as the data cables for home networks (LAN).
