The WERA Kraftform Kompakt 817 VDE screwdriver handle (9 x 98 mm) is the heart of the interchangeable-blade VDE system: a single insulated handle into which you fit any compatible Kraftform Kompakt VDE blade (PH, PZ, PZ/S, TORX, slotted). This gives you a complete screwdriver for live work, and you swap the blade quickly to match the screw.
The handle is VDE insulated, rated up to 1000 V, in accordance with IEC 60900 - together with a VDE blade it forms a fully insulated screwdriver for live work. The 9 mm hexagonal socket takes the blades from the Kraftform Kompakt VDE system.
The Kraftform handle is ergonomic, with a soft, non-slip surface that reduces hand fatigue on repeated driving. The anti-roll design stops the tool from rolling off the bench or sloped surfaces. The red/yellow colours and the multicomponent material are typical of WERA's VDE range.
It is ideal for electricians and technicians using the Kraftform Kompakt VDE system, in electrical assembly and maintenance. WERA brand, manufacturer of precision tools.
CAUTION! The handle is VDE insulated, but full protection for live work is ensured only together with a compatible VDE blade in good condition. Do not use the handle with non-insulated blades for live work. Before each use, check the integrity of the handle and blade insulation; do not use pieces with damaged insulation. Follow live-working procedures and protective equipment.
