With fine adjustment directly on the workpiece, this tool offers 11 adjustment positions and can grip nuts up to 24 mm in diameter and other workpieces/pipes up to 28 mm - at a total length of only 100 millimeters.

Due to its compact size, the Cobra can be easily used with one hand.

Like all products in the KNIPEX, the Cobra is self-locking on pipes and nuts: the result is a perfect fixation of the workpiece, and operations such as clamping, holding, pressing and bending are considerably less demanding.

High-tech pliers for plumbers with lots of smart details

The robust joint of the pliers arms features an innovative mechanism for adjusting the width of the opening: simply place the upper jaw half on the workpiece, then push the lower jaw forward.

The gripping surfaces have specially hardened teeth (approx. 60 HRC): for a secure permanent grip and high wear resistance.

Tough and strong

We forge the Cobra QuickSet from chrome vanadium steel and use a multiple stage hardening process to give it the ideal balance between hardness and toughness. This makes it extremely durable. To achieve a lasting secure “bite” on the work component, we use high-frequency current to bring the gripping teeth to a hardness of approx. 61 HRC.

The Cobra QuickSet is further stabilised by the box joint design. Unlike pliers with mounted joints, no tilting forces arise when under strain. The handles stabilise each other in the joint.
