The KNIPEX CutiX 90 10 165 BK universal cutter is a professional knife with an 18 mm blade, designed to cut a wide range of materials precisely and safely: wood, plastic, leather, textiles, plasterboard, cardboard and paper. Its unique feature is the blade stabilisation bar (the guide) - a variably extendable bar that supports the blade and lets you apply controlled pressure to its back, without the risk of bending or breaking it.

The blade is held firmly by a high-quality locking system and a hardened steel pin, staying stable during cutting, pushing and scraping. The two separate flat slides (one for the blade, one for the stabilisation bar) are ergonomic and hard to actuate by accident, for added safety. The closed rear handle end prevents the slider and blade from slipping out.

The housing is made of magnesium - as light as plastic, yet as strong as die-cast aluminium. The slim, ergonomic shape with several non-slip grip zones provides control and comfort. Two spare blades are stored in the handle and change without tools. The cutter accepts standard 18 mm blades (smooth, curved and hooked).

It has an attachment point for the KNIPEX Tethered Tools System (work at height; the tether is not included). It is the ideal tool for fitters, installers, upholsterers, tradespeople and precision work. KNIPEX brand, the German specialist, made in Germany.
