The KNIPEX 86 03 250 Pliers Wrench is an adjustable wrench and a pair of pliers in a single tool. It replaces a whole set of open-end and adjustable wrenches, covering sizes up to 52 mm. Unlike toothed water pump pliers, the jaws are smooth and stay parallel in every position, gripping firmly without play - so they protect chrome nuts, brass and sensitive surfaces that an ordinary wrench would damage.

Adjustment is quick, with a button, directly on the workpiece: position the jaws on the nut and set the opening. A locking button prevents the setting from changing accidentally during work, for a secure grip at every turn. The ratchet function allows quick tightening and loosening of threaded connections, without repositioning the tool.

Thanks to the optimised transmission, the tool delivers a gripping force up to about 10 times the force of the hand and can hold parts firmly, like a small bench vice. The slim head shape allows work in tight spaces. The head is chrome-plated, and the non-slip plastic (PVC) handles provide a comfortable grip.
