The KNIPEX ErgoStrip XL (16 95 11) is a universal stripping tool designed for quick and precise removal of the sheath from standardised round cables with a diameter of 12 to 28 mm. Thanks to its fixed, factory-calibrated blades, it is ideal for NYM or NYY cables used for power supply in domestic and industrial installations.

One tool covers every step: circumferential cut, longitudinal cut, opening the scored sheath and stripping individual conductors. It is designed for larger installations such as supply cables to distribution boards, sub-distribution boards, EV wall boxes or PV inverters.

Three blades reduce wrist rotation and guide the cut precisely, while positioning marks allow exact alignment of the longitudinal cutting blade. The robust splitting aid opens the scored sheath easily, without a knife.

The integrated stripping device handles conductors from 2.5 to 25 mm², and positioning tabs make it easy to insert each wire. Integrated scales give accurate, repeatable stripping and sheath lengths. At only 119 mm and 64 g, the tool is compact and easy to handle in tight spaces. Note: for non-standard cable types a visual check is required to avoid damaging the conductors.
