The KNIPEX Cobra 87 01 150 water pump pliers are the most compact model in the Cobra range that keeps the full functionality of the professional series: self-locking on pipes and nuts, fast push-button adjustment and jaws with hardened teeth. At just 150 mm long, they fit in your pocket or service kit and become the spare pliers you always have to hand for tight spaces, fine plumbing work, electronics and precision mechanics.

Adjustment is made directly with the thumb, pressing the button: open the jaw, position it on the workpiece and the pliers lock automatically at size, without slipping. The 16 adjustment positions cover a wide range up to pipes of 1 1/4" (Ø 36 mm) and nuts up to 32 mm, with a firm grip at every step. The pinch guard for the fingers adds safety at work.

The jaws have teeth hardened to about 61 HRC, for a strong grip and reduced wear over time. The box-joint design with double guide ensures stability and symmetric loading, and the body is forged from chrome-vanadium steel, oil-hardened, for high mechanical strength. The polished head and atramentized (burnished) body provide extra corrosion protection.

CAUTION! As the most compact Cobra model, 87 01 150 is intended for small and medium pipes and nuts (pipe up to 1 1/4" / Ø 36 mm, nuts up to 32 mm). For larger pipes and nuts, use a longer Cobra model (e.g. 87 01 250 or 87 01 300). Do not use the pliers as a hammer or pry bar, and do not extend the handles.
