The KNIPEX 95 05 10 SB universal electricians' scissors is a professional 160 mm pair of shears, with a precision finish and micro-serration for a clean, non-slip cut. Compared with the standard model, it additionally has a crimping area for wire-end ferrules up to 6.0 mm², plus an integrated cable cutter. It is supplied with a plastic belt pouch. It is made in Germany.
The cutting edges are made of stainless steel, hardened to 56 HRC. The micro-serration on the blades prevents the material from slipping during cutting, and the integrated crimping area lets you quickly fit ferrules onto conductors, without changing tool.
The arms have multi-component sheaths, glass-fibre reinforced, for strength and comfort. When cutting a large-diameter cable, the pressure on the upper ring can be applied directly with the palm, for extra force.
The steel used by KNIPEX is precisely hardened, with a maximum of 0.8% carbon and defined parts of chrome and vanadium, for optimal cutting performance and a long service life. Length 160 mm, weight 135 g. A reference tool for electricians and installers, made in Germany by KNIPEX.
