The KNIPEX Cobra 87 01 125 adjustable pliers are the most compact model in the classic range of high-tech water pump (tongue-and-groove) pliers, with a self-locking device. At just 125 mm and 85 g, they fit in a pocket or any small tool kit, making them the ideal pliers for quick jobs on small parts: basin and bathroom taps, fittings, small nuts and connectors. They are made in Germany.

Adjustment is made at the touch of a button, directly on the piece: you position the upper jaw, press the button and close the lower jaw. Ingeniously simple, with no lengthy pre-setting of the size. The fine adjustment allows optimal adaptation to different sizes and a comfortable handle position.

The self-locking on pipes and nuts prevents slipping off the piece and requires minimal effort. The gripping surfaces have specially hardened teeth (hardness approx. 61 HRC), for a secure, lasting grip with high wear resistance. The box-joint provides high stability thanks to the double guide, and the secure locking of the joint bolt prevents accidental change of the setting. A guard prevents injuries from pinching.

The body is made of chrome-vanadium alloy steel, forged and multi-stage oil-hardened. The handles have red plastic grips. Length 125 mm, weight just 85 g. REACH-compliant, no SVHC. Perfect for small sanitary installations, maintenance, service and the pocket tool kit. Also available in larger sizes: 87 01 150, 87 01 180, 87 01 250 and 87 01 300.

How it works

Position the upper jaw on the pipe or nut, press the adjustment button and push the lower jaw until it closes on the piece. The teeth set against the direction of rotation self-lock and prevent slipping, so you tighten and loosen with minimal effort. The pliers stay set at the chosen size, with no unintentional changes.

Destul de mic si de usor pentru a l tine in buzunar si suficient pentru a schimba o baterie de chiuveta sau de baie. Dar la cat e de mic, cred ca puteam sa il iau si pe cel de 150mm. Mergea un pic mai mare.
