The 5 dies — 1.6, 1.9, 2.2, 2.5 and 2.8 mm wide — cover a broad range of medium terminals, while the head geometry gives high visibility during crimping. That visibility makes it easier to position the terminal correctly and helps prevent crimping defects, producing a reliable mechanical and electrical joint without damaging the insulation.
In addition to crimping, the pliers include a built-in screw cutter that trims small screws to length — handy in assembly and repair work when a shorter screw is needed on the spot.

How to select the crimping die
- Measure the width of the terminal wings with a caliper, keeping the jaws parallel.
- Select the die whose width is closest to the measured value. Example: 4 mm measured → choose the 2.5 mm die.
- Crimp the conductor barrel first, then crimp the insulation barrel separately, for a clean, reliable joint.

Excelent! Se simte foarte bine in mana, terminalele sunt destul de usor de inserat in matrite. Am incercat cu niste conectori Dupont si niste JST-XH2.54 si este incomparabil cu porcaria mea chinezeasca cumparata cu aproximativ jumatate din pretul acestui cleste.
