The ENGINEER PAW-21 compact wire stripper is a light, versatile pocket stripper for stripping, peeling or cutting low-voltage, coaxial and general-purpose cables. Compact enough to carry with you at all times thanks to its pocket clip, it is equipped with blades for three different cable types and has scales in mm and inch, for an exact strip length. It is made in Japan and is recommended by the Romanian Association of Electricians (AREL).
The PAW-21 covers the most common cables found in the field: low-voltage cables 8 to 13 mm in diameter, general cables with a cross-section of 0.5, 1.0, 2.5, 4.0 and 6.0 mm² and RG6/RG59 coaxial cable. With its dedicated blades, you strip the insulation cleanly, without nicking the conductor, and cut wires or cables when needed.
The blades are made of high-carbon steel, for precise cutting and a long service life, and the ABS elastomer handle provides a secure, comfortable grip. The body measures just 122 mm long and 28 mm wide, at a weight of 48 g, so the tool fits easily in a pocket or toolbox.
It is ideal for electricians, network, telecom and CCTV installers, as well as for photovoltaic panel installations, where a small tool that is always within reach is needed. Note that the PAW-21 cuts transversally with the front blade and does NOT have a blade for longitudinal cutting.
CAUTION! The PAW-21 does not have a blade for longitudinal cutting – the front blade cuts transversally. Use the tool only for the recommended cable types (low-voltage 8-13 mm, general cable 0.5-6.0 mm², coaxial RG6/59).
