The ENGINEER NK-16 diagonal cutting nippers is a professional side cutter with super-fine blades, for high-precision cutting of wires and cables in electronics and wiring. The blades meet exactly, ensuring a complete, extremely fine cut, right at the base of the component. It is made in Japan and is recommended by the Romanian Association of Electricians (AREL).
The body is made of very strong carbon steel (S58C), hardened to HRC58±4, and the cutting jaws are precisely sharpened for a long service life. The cutting capacity covers copper wire up to 3 mm in diameter, ideal for component leads, conductors and wiring.
The NK-16 is fitted with a coil spring between the handles, which opens the nippers automatically after each cut, for a continuous, fatigue-free rhythm. In addition, it has a locking mechanism in the closed position for safe storage, and a mechanism to adjust the jaw opening angle to suit your preference.
The handles are covered with non-slip green elastomer, pleasant to the touch and comfortable in the hand. Length 153 mm, weight 133 g. It is ideal for electronics technicians, electricians, installers and DIY enthusiasts, for fine, precise cuts. Note: the NK-16 has no stripping holes; for stripping, see the NK-26 model.
