The ENGINEER NN-56 slant-edge nippers is a professional side cutter with a slant (diagonal) blade, sharp and durable, for high-precision cutting of wires and cables in electronics, wiring and precision work. The unique blade shape lets you place the cutting edges in line with the flat surface of a workpiece, for a truly flush cut. It is made in Japan and is recommended by the Romanian Association of Electricians (AREL).
The blades meet exactly, ensuring a very precise cut. Thanks to the slant edge, the NN-56 is also useful for splitting an insulated cable in two, a task that is difficult with an ordinary cutter. The body is made of very strong carbon steel (S58C), hardened to HRC58±4, for a long service life.
The cutting capacity covers single-core (solid) copper wire up to 2.6 mm in diameter. The handles are covered with non-slip green elastomer, pleasant to the touch and comfortable in the hand, even in prolonged use.
At 159 mm long and 152 g, the NN-56 is ideal for electronics technicians, electricians, installers and precision enthusiasts. Note: the NN-56 has no stripping holes and is not recommended for cutting multi-strand (stranded) cables.
