The ENGINEER PK-51 is a 212 mm cable shears designed for clean cutting of copper and aluminium conductors and cables, with capacity up to 38 mm² / Ø11 mm. Its curved blades hold the cable securely and produce a fine cut without crushing or sideways slipping. The long handles provide high leverage for thicker cables. It is made in Japan and recommended by the Romanian Association of Electricians (AREL).
The PK-51 has two cutting zones: the foremost blades are intended for fine cutting of copper or aluminium wire, while the curved main blade is designed for insulated cable. ENGINEER specifies cutting capacities of VVF Ø2.0 mm x 3 cores, IV 38 mm² and VCT Ø11 mm. Flat, coaxial, LAN and power-supply cables are also applicable within the specified material and size limits.
The carbon-steel body and HRC58±4 hardened blades provide durability and long-lasting cutting performance. At 212 mm and 250 g, the PK-51 provides greater leverage than the compact PK-50, making it suitable when higher cable capacity and cutting force are required.
