Eyelet pliers

are a tool that crimps eyelets through a hole in a piece of fabric or another material to prevent rips and frays.

If you want to add an eyelet to something, simply make a hole (use leather punch ) in the material so you can position an eyelet inside of it.

Once the eyelet is in place, squeeze it in the pliers to secure it.
